Yelahanka Extension
Yelahanka Extension is a growing home and plot belt in North Bangalore. It lies beyond main Yelahanka towards Doddaballapur Road, Rajanukunte, Bettenahalli and other outer north pockets. The area uses Yelahanka for schools, hospitals, shops and rail travel. NH 44 gives access to Hebbal and the airport side. In Q2 2026, Magicbricks showed an average flat asking rate of about ₹9,885 per sq. ft in Yelahanka. Housing.com showed about ₹12,203 per sq. ft for the wider Yelahanka market. The gap shows why road and project choice matter.
Yelahanka Extension also has several major road and rail projects around it. The Blue Line Metro is under work through Yelahanka towards Kempegowda International Airport. Bengaluru Suburban Rail has a planned Heelalige–Rajanukunte corridor. A 1.8 km flyover on Doddaballapur Main Road was about 75% complete in May 2026, with an October-end target. A separate 1.5 km elevated road from Doddaballapur Road to NH 44 through Old Yelahanka was also put to tender in 2026. These works, along with airport growth, are keeping the area in focus for flats, plots and villas.
